Youth Volunteer awards

Nomination Form 2010

Volunteers are the glue that helps our communities to stick together through times of hardship and struggle. Volunteers aren't paid, not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless.

During Youth Week 2010, Nelson and Tasman will celebrate the voluntary efforts of our regions young people, with a special awards ceremony to hosted by The New Hub on Thursday 27th May.

We invite you to nominate a young person from an organisation who you think deserves some recognition.

“A volunteer is a person who can see what others cannot see; who can feel what most do not feel. Often, such gifted persons do not think of themselves as volunteers, but as citizens - citizens in the fullest sense: partners in civilization.” anonymous
